We will be cleaning one of the most beautiful and un-altered portions of the San Antonio River, just downstream from Brackenridge Park and the Zoo. This area has beautiful tall trees and is home to many bird species. Check-in will be at Allison Park on River Road just south of Mulberry Avenue. Look for the banner. Parking is located along River Road adjacent to Allison Park. From there, groups will set-out to cleanup both sides of the river from River Road, and from Avenue “A” along the golf course on the east bank of the river. Please wear long pants, closed toe shoes or boots, and long sleeves. Bring gloves, if you have them. We’ll have some, too. A refillable water bottle is a good idea.
